• Resto Mobile launched

    Last week we launched an update to the Resto sites that enables smartphone views.  The more than 25% smartphone users will get an optimized version of the website that loads a lot faster and offers an improved user experience for searching and booking. Tablet and desktop users will still see the normal website. In later updates in the next few months, more functionalities will be developed and added to the mobile version of Resto.

  • Reaching a New Milestone with Cucumber Web Bridge

    The past 3 days, we’ve worked very hard on one of our open source products. Cucumber Web Bridge (CWB) is used to automate functional or acceptance tests for web software. Without requiring much technical expertise, test scenarios can be written in plain English and run automatically in a web browser. As a result everyone on the development team can contribute to writing automatic tests; functional people - Product Owner, Functional Analyst, Tester, etc. – as well as technical team members. In a way, CWB serves as a bridge between the technical and the functional elements of a web product.

  • Project: De Tijd and L'Echo investor community

    Mediafin has extended the websites of newspapers De Tijd and L'Echo with an investor community. Registered users can rate and comment shares of publicly traded companies. This information is used in addition to professional analyst ratings to offer investors a broad overview of share popularity with experts and with the general public.
